A New Update on Lucian

So everything went well with Lucian this morning. Thank God. Doctor Rogers came in and talked to me before the surgery. He got Lucian’s esophagus to a 36 today which is the biggest it has ever been so that a great. He has been all smiles since then. He has had a few problems with vomiting though. He sometimes does this retching thing after dilation’s but really hasnt recently and he has alot today. We tried to give him just a little pedialite and he was not having it so we are just going to let his tummy rest for about another hour and then try and giver him some formula. I think his tummy tums is just up set from the anesthesiology medicine they used to put him to sleep because he does not usually get that and he did this time because they put him to sleep. I think they finally got a iv in him because they had several patches of gauze on his hands and feet and the one they did get in had to be taken out because it was only half in and half out but what can I say he is a hard stick that is for sure. Nothing you can do about that. We had our favorite recovery nurse Kimmy. She is absolutely the best They well the ones we have had are all good but everyone knows when Lucian is there if she is there she gets him for sure. We had our favorite Nicu nurse Trish and we have our favorite doctor,Doctor Rogers and we have our favorite recovery nurse an pedi pre an nurse as well Shannon. So we just have the ones we are really close to that we would rather have take care of Lucian than others. I seriously honestly don’t know what we would do with out Doctor Rogers and I don’t ever want to find out. I would be so devastated,I have said it once and I will say it a million times more We love that man to death he truly saved our sons life and with out him it is hard saying were we would be right now. If you ahve this man as your baby’
