10/31/08 Happy Halloween

So lucians dilation went pretty well today. They got him from a 28 to a 32 with no problem really at all. They gave him the normal cocktail they give him to relax him and this time they gave him more and we are questioning it. We didn’t have our normal anesthesiologist that we normally had and you could tell this lady had not even looked over Lucian’s chart at all. She could of at least looked over the last two dilation’s he has had, we were not saying she had to read his whole history she would be there for 3 years. But anyways it was apparent she had not looked at all because she had no idea that they don’t ever vent our son. However after the procedure they told us that Lucian had desat pretty bad during the procedure. He told us to watch him closely because we could easily end back up in the hospital. I don’t want that at all. I’m keeping track of everything. Trying to pay attention to every little thing i can. I’m hoping his cough does not get more persistent. I want him to stay well and healthy. I think I am coming down with a head cold though my nose is kind of stuffy and my head just fills full and my throat is a little irratated.
