The elephant sign

I just had to take a picture of Lucians name sign. I actually have it to this day. I love elephants so I thought it was pretty cool how his sign had one on it. It is a nice memento for his baby book. As for the other picture, it brings tears to my eyes. Because I believe he never needed to go back on the vent after his primary repair in the first place if anything all he needed was a little bit of oxygen. After fighting with them and argue in with hem at Childrens Memorial in chicago we finally got them to ext abate him. And he was ext abated successfully at that. That is after the fact that they looked both me and lucians dad in the eyes and told us they believed Lucian only had a 20% chance of making it off the ventilator. They had no idea what they were talking about, and that’s what they get for doubting our little soldier.
