the silastic tube verses the simple string

This is what Lucian looked like after Chicago put there esophageal dilation guide in. We were told it was gonna be a string come in out his nose not the case the came back with him having a silastic tube out his mouth. Well actually it came out his mouth and ran around his ear and was taped to his tummy then the part that was down his throat came out beside his g tube and was taped to his tummy. We did not get the simple string we were promised and believe you me they heard it. You don’t tell parents one thing with there child and then go back and do something different that they have no idea about. The string is so much easier his mouth is free and he never messed with the string. Thank god for our surgeon we love him so very much!
