Update on Lucian

So I am waiting on a call from the pediatrician’s office about Lucian. I called almost an hour and a half ago and still no call back. When i finally called again they said that I have four calls ahead of me. God it is going to be forever before they call me. We had our speech therapist and our nutritionist out this morning and I let them in on what has been going on. Now it is looking as if Lucian might have the chicken pox. The rash is all over his face his hand his tummy and his back and behind his ear. But they are tiny tiny little dots so i am not sure. I looked up chicken pox and went to images an they look alot different than what he has they just look alot smaller so maybe it is the beginnings of chicken pox who knows. I know you run a fever with it before you break out in a rash. I also know it says that it starts on the face then goes to the other parts of the body. i myself and Travis have had the chicken pox but all three of the kids have not had them. I knwo three kids with chicken pox is not going to be a good time at all. He is not eating at all by mouth. I tried again this morning and he would just shake his head no no no. So I tried a couple more times just to see if he would open his mouth and it was no no no so we quit. The speech therapist and nutritionist thought he looked like he did not feel well at all either. But he tolerated them well. He has grown again he is at 18lbs 11ounces! He had some head circumference growth which mean he had some new brain development which is awesome. She sad she was amazed his growth is pretty much exactly where he needs to be with his growth and development. She said even with down syndrome he is right on track practically a straight line up! yay! That is one good thing out of everythign else. My concern is if the chicken pox get in his throat, maybe that is why he is not wanting to eat? I am not sure which is why I have called the doctor to see what they say because I am not sure and I really don’t want to over look something more serious. So hopefully they will call soon. I have to work all tonight. Well this after noon and then I get off at 11:15 and wont get home until midnight. I am off tomorrow and I have two appointments so If I have to get him in tomorrow it is going to be a long day. But I will keep this updated with updates on what is going on. Hopefully good things will take place.
