Lucian and his dilation today!

So Lucian had his dilation today. Everything is ok but it did not go as anyone planned. He was strictured down very bad in his esophagus. Doctor Rogers said he had to balloon dilate him and then use the regular dilators and he hasn’t had to use the balloon dilator in a long time. He was so strictured shut we didn’t even get a number. So we are going to continue to do this for another 5 months or so and if his esophagus doesn’t stay open then we are going to have to do other things. I am so worried, I am so scared I don’t want my baby to have to go through any more surgeries. He has been through so much already. He is such a good boy. Such a blessing and such a miracle. He may have to have his stricture point in his esophagus taken back apart and put back together. If that is the case it is going to be like Lucian had his primary repair again . Not a good time not at all. This is my poor baby after his primary repair surgery . It makes me so sad to think of that. That was such a difficult time and to think having to face it all over again is terrifying for sure. Of coarse we want what is best for him and doctor rogers has been doing this long enough that we know he knows what he is doing. I have been so stressed out I have broken out into a stress rash. He is doing good though he is eating his regular now. And had some sweet potatoes and prunes to! About 6 bites small ones but it is a start is does so well he opens his mouth and lunges towards it but when his pouch starts to fill up he slows down and wants time to clear it out. It can take some time to feed him quite some time. But it is such a blessing he can do it. I have to work tomorrow and I am so tired I am hoping I get some sleep tonight. I am hoping I ma not getting sick, I haven’t been feeling the best today very tired.. Kind of achy,a slight head ache and a small stuffy nose. I think Travis might have fixed our internet all by himself which is pathetic. He doesnt even get paid by them and we work for them to fix our own stuff and we pay them, but we have complained so much that they are going to reimburse us our money for the time that it has been out.
