Stem Cells

Stem cell research has been going on for some years now. Embryonic stem cells have yet to produce anything but brain tumors in lab rats and a ridiculous platform for the pro abortion crowd, in their efforts to defend the indefensible. However, umbilical blood from a live, full-term birth has been proven effective in treating a wide variety of diseases and repairing damaged tissues. Adult stem cells have also proven valuable in curing heart disease, diabetes and other problems. There are two new companies that deal in blood storage for the purposes of stem cell treatments. One company is called C’elle and another is called Cryo-Cell International. They allow a person to have their own blood cryogenically frozen for future need as well as the umbilical blood for the baby, should it ever be required to treat illnesses or injuries.
Science and technology are advancing in the medical field. It’s time we concentrate on research and procedures that work and stop considering those that fail every time, don’t ya think?

  1. Hi Kayla! I can’t believe I haven’t stumbled across your website before! It is SO interesting and I have totally lost track of time while reading! I am going to subscribe to your blog so I can catch up and keep up.

Stem cells are something I am very interesting in learning more about, but still feels so “taboo” to bring up in conversation. I am currently doing my placement in obstetrics and I’m watching daily piles of placentas and cords being tossed into the toxic waste bin. It always makes me wonder to myself if that “waste” could’ve been used to help someone (ie research).

PS – I would be honoured to exchange links with you :)
